From this screen you can either Search for your Ancestors by entering data, or you can click on the world map and drill down the site by country. Then chose an item from the list of records for that country. The home screen for record search also gives you a summary of the latest in Collection News and also has a link to the FamilySearch Indexing Project. I will first show you what the site looks like when you do a name search.
